Your Home is equipped with smoke detectors and one or two carbon monoxide detectors. These are all hardwired together so that if one goes off, they will all go off. In the case of a power outage they are all equipped with a battery back-up. If the detector is going off for no reason or the light is blinking a certain color, below are some troubleshooting possibilities.
